Dagashi Kashi Season 1 Episode 1 [Dub]

Out throughout the countryside stands a sweet retailer run by the Shikada family for 9 generations: Shikada Dagashi, a small enterprise selling standard Japanese candy. Nonetheless, no matter his father's pleas, Kokonotsu Shikada, an aspiring manga artist, adamantly refuses to inherit the family enterprise. Nonetheless, this may increasingly sometimes start to alter with the arrival of the eccentric Hotaru Shidare. Hotaru is trying to find Kokonotsu's father, with the purpose of bringing him once more to work for her family's agency, Shidare Firm, a world well-known sweets producer. Although the senior Shikada initially refuses, he states that he'll change his ideas on one scenario: if Hotaru can persuade Kokonotsu to take over the family retailer. And so begins Hotaru's mission to enlighten the boy on the true pleasure of delicious and nostalgic dagashi!
